# What are the email addresses for the admins?

I want to change my username before I pay my subscription.
I emailed TubaDiva and didn’t get an answer yet.
I know I should email more admins but I forget their email addresses.
Now that I’m a guest I can no longer look them up.

Hmmm. Can you see the Admins/Mods listed at the bottom right of the front page of each forum? Click on their link to obtain their email addresses.
I’m not sure if Guests can get to this info or not. If not, re-post here and I’ll provide the email addresses for you.

**Algernon** - Thanks, but I tried clicking the names and it said I wasn’t authorized to see that information.
And there’s no point in posting things here since Lynn clearly doesn’t want to hear from non-subscribers, even if they are having to wait for PayPal to “clear” their information, and even if the users have been coming here for 5 years now.
Nothing like a cold splash of reality.

Guests are not going to be allowed to see Admins and Mods e-mail addys, either? 😕
I know I’m congenitally out of the loop, but this is some kind of new record even for me…
seems just a tad…unfriendly…

If we set the controls so guests can’t obtain e-mail addresses for mods and admins (and we might have - there are a zillion controls in this thing), it was inadvertent. We did, however, decide we’d limit name changes to subscribers, since that gave people one more reason to subscribe. That said, we don’t mean to be rude. **ageless6** mentioned the [VIEW FORUM LEADERS page](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showgroups.php?) in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=247464). If you know that **Arnold** , **Lynn** , **Gaudere** , **TubaDiva** and \*\*C K Dexter Haven \*\* (did I miss anyone?) are administrators, their addies are available there.

Sorry I took offense.
Of course it makes sense not to allow name changes on a 30 day trial membership.
I can wait until my subscription clears.
And it’s probably better that way in case the subscription process somehow alters your name as mentioned by

I think there’s a couple more admins that, like Ed, aren’t moderators and thus aren’t on the list. Maybe the tech guys, etc. But I think they are less involved with the membership business and needn’t be bothered with name change requests.

Oh, as to the OP, I’ve discovered that besides that new [View Forum Leaders](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showgroups.php?)link on the bottom of the main forum list, you can also get admin’s emails if you clock on their name in a post, then the dropdown shows Send Email To.
It’s only clicking on the name on the bottom of the forum list or last poster links that blocks guests, presumably because it goes to the entire rofile instead of just the email.
