Another vote for Jeselnik. Also, Tom Popa is great and family friendly, even though at least one of his specials is directed by Rob Zombie. (I also have a selfie with him and Brendan Small) ---

My favorites are: John Mulaney Nate Bargatze Dave Chappelle Jim Gaffigan (he also has a at least one special on Amazon that Netflix doesn’t have) Bill Burr (I like his older specials more than the new ones) ---

In my experience he is the most universally admired and respected comic by other comics. Even the dirtiest comics tip their hat to him as being one of the best. Regan actually loves dirty comedy. He just doesn’t feel comfortable doing it himself. I’ve heard him talk about it ---

Can you get James Acaster on USA Netflix? He’s a British stand up I adore, though YMMV as he’s quite surreal. As his father famously twittered about him: “he’s not for everybody, but he works hard”. ---

Kathleen Madigan always busts me up. And, if you can find it, Ben (“Cash Cab”) Bailey has a stand up show that’s outstanding; called, “Road Rage and Accidental Ornithology.” ---

John Mulaney is my #1 comic and all his specials are good, but I’d say Kid Gorgeous and New in Town are the best. Ali Wong is hilarious and I loved both of her Netflix specials. I’d also recommend Doug Benson’s Doug Dynasty with the caveat that his personality/schtick is haha I’m a total pothead. That being said, the rest of his bits are fucking HILARIOUS. The one about Silence of the Lambs (and So You Think You Can Dance) and the one about being afraid of flying made me laugh so much I stopped making actual sounds and actually had tears down my face. ---

I really don’t enjoy the actual mic bumping part, that got old fast. But seeing those two guys play off each other and the audience is fun. Jim Jefferies is definitely great, I’ve enjoyed most of what I’ve seen from him. Adam Sandler I would have never thought to try but I may now. I know he’s been capable of good comedy in the past. ---
