# What are the GDP and total wealth/worth of the whole planet Earth?

I don’t know about total worth of the planet, but [official statistics](https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/xx.html#Econ) for Gross World Product put it between $70.65 trillion and $78.36 trillion (depending on [which method of calculating GDP](https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/docs/notesanddefs.html#2195) you use).

Hmm, our world exports are larger then our world imports. I hadn’t realized we had such a large trade imbalance with the rest of the galaxy.
