Neil Degrasse Tyson has a podcast called “Star Talk”. The “theme song”, if you can call it that, has mixed in a lot of different audio sections. I’d like to get the lyrics to the entire theme song introduction. I’ve tried searching the web, and either my Google-Fu is weak, or it’s difficult to find. I suspect the latter, since it’s more of a bunch of audio segments mixed together to form an introduction, than it is a song. Anyway, some of the spoken word sections say “… dropped the orange like Galileo…”, and the one that really started out my quest for the words, \ “… with a girl named Lizzie”. WHAT with a girl named Lizzie??? Does anyone know the lyrics to this introduction? Thanks, J. ---

I realize this is probably long dead, but as a Star Talk fan I must chime in that the lyric is “a girl named LUCY”-----referring to the fossilized Australopithecus found in the 70s that for awhile was the oldest hominid discovered. Evolution—science theme. Just sayin’. ---

The intro is actually a combination of Beastie Boys’ Ch Ch Check It Out and Jaden Smith’s Icon. I had to transcribe it and ran across this message board looking for the lyrics.
