Sigh. Why do I have such a big heart? The person with money woes I posted about is the same man I assisted Wednesday with gettin’ his deposit switched back from bank deposit to paycard deposit. I feared then it was too late for this pay period and I was right. The bank can’t help out. He has overdrafts and any money deposited into that account will go towards those. So, here I am huntin’ down places where he can get assistance with at least food. **Spidey** if the dang tires would just move themselves from front to back or side to side or whatever it is one is supposed to do that’d be a big help, but, nooooooooooooo, they insist on somebody doin’ it for 'em. 😛 ---

Something I don’t understand. Sting cheese comes in individually wrapped packages which are interconnected into belts just like automatic weapon ammunition. You would think that someone somewhere would have invented a string cheese gun that you could feed the belts of string cheese into and which would then fire string cheese. So I go to the interwebz fully expecting to get several million hits and nada. Words cannot convey my disappointment. ---

I had never thought of it before, either … and I find myself as disappointed as you must be. If you invent one, please let me know, because I would let you fire string cheese at me–provided I was allowed to eat it afterwards. The cheese, not the gun, of course. ---

Home. Yay! Daughter arrived this morning while I was making my lunch - she drove all night!!! :eek: I remember doing stoopit stuff like that when I was young. Now, I’m a firm believer in hotels for the night. Cozmo and Higgs were running amok when I left, and they were doing the same when I came home. Goofy dogs… Daughter’s at her old school visiting her friends - no idea when she’ll get back. We’re going out to eat this evening, and I expect we’ll all crash early. The wedding she’s attending is at 4 tomorrow. And she’ll head back to Orlando some time on Sunday. We’ll get a little time to visit with her. She did bring me 2 bottles of Sonny’s sweet BBQ sauce - I can pretend. In fact, I’ll be putting the leftover poke roast from yesterday into a slow cooker with the sauce - instant poke BBQ!! 😃 Still drizzly here. Traffic sucked. TGIF!!! ---

I remember once working all day, going home to pack, going to the movies, and then driving to Maine at midnight. The roads were gloriously clear, but I just don’t think I still have the stamina to do that, even if I napped instead of going to the movies. Something about nighttime means sleeping now. That’s almost sad. I guess we all have to grow up eventually. And speaking of growing up, I’m going to go home after work and take a nap. One of those big ol’ inadvisable naps where you wake up after dark and don’t have the slightest idea what frickin’ _day_ it is. Then I’ll go grocery shopping. 🙂 ---

Took 3 hours off work this morning to sign documents for the title company in Idaho regarding the sale of my mother’s house. Yes, it took that long and it’s going to take longer to set up the estate bank account to deposit the eventual check into. But we only need the account when the check comes. I feel like I need a nap. Congratz to **gotti** , yay for puppies, and hugs for anyone who needs one. ---

I got to the tire changin’ place at three forty-five and was outta there at four! Seriously. I walked in the door, the guy took my keys and fifteen minutes later I was history. Wow! So I went to the sto’ for that all important beer run and whilst there (the Harvey’s that’s really Food Kitty sto’) they had just fried chikin and had a deal for eight pieces for $3.99! So I bought chikin, a side of mac 'n cheese, some of their really good rolls, the beer, natch and came back to da cave and nuked some peas 'n carrots. Voila! Instant early dindin! I was gonna order pizza but this was so much better. Also, I managed, through the use of some emergency funds, to get a hunner dollar gift card to Winn-Dixie (grocery sto’) for the guy I told y’all about earlier. I did this whilst drivin’ to the tire changin’ place. Go Me! All in all, life is good for the moment. Yay for FCD and Cozmo arrivin’ safe **MOOOOOOM**! She is so gonna crash at some point. ---

Google “semi-automatic potato gun” & then just swap out for narrower PVC tubes. Granted, there may not be any already designed that let you crank the cheese thru, but with a little modification you could definitely do one that would make **Drae** full. 😛 ---
