Irk is exactly that so far today. First a very important website has decided to crash and burn. The error message is this: Error 503 Service Unavailable Service Unavailable ## Guru Meditation: XID: 426258402 Varnish cache server At least it’s an entertaining error message. Then I have someone who wants to have his wages put onto a pay card (I hates those things!) instead of direct deposit. I remind him this is Wednesday and payday is Firday but we’d try. An hour and a half later, with numerous phone calls, amazingly, this is accomplished! Still took an hour and a half of the day to do it. I let him do the talkin’ and he kept askin’ the person on the phone to repeat herself as he’s **DEAF AS A POST.** Hey, the guy’s 87 years old. Would I have done this much for anybody else. Truth is, probably not. However, my own father, if he were still with us, would be 88, so it’s kinda like I’m doin’ this for my father. Thus, yes, I would do all that for him. I still have a two hour conference call to live through today. ICK! ---

I had to use the frog for my card pic as the heron wasn’t big enough. Th pic has been submitted and is awaiting approval. I need to close my window a bit, the breeze is chilly. I heard to mice are back although I haven’t seen any signs. My mother wants to get an exterminator and then she looks around and wonders what good it will do. I said don’t look at me, it’s not my hoard. It’s not really as bad as I make it out to be but it is bad enough. ---

Howdy from da cave! Time finally moved so I could leave irk. Stoopid conference call. Anywho, jambalaya for dindin. It’s acutally all made cause I made it last night. Go Me! Made a green sallit too. Gonna go pop some garlic bread into the oven to toast up shortly cause garlic bread goes good with jambalaya. Also tonight is Evening Prayer over to the church house so I have that to look forward to doin’. Yep, irk was sucktastic but hometime is all good! ETA: First on Four! ---

Speaking of prayer, DH got a nibble on job-hunting from a staffing place that thinks he’d be a good bet for more than one possibility they have. He’s meeting with them Monday, so any prayers/good wishes/etc. would be appreciated. ---

It’s a rainy day, altho it wasn’t raining when I got to the office. For some reason that I absolutely don’t remember, I left all the windows open about 2". It wasn’t supposed to get hot today and I knew it was going to rain. So why would I leave the windows open??? Anyway, my pants are still damp from sitting on a wet seat. ugh. Work was meh - I’m doing an as-built of a circuit board - what a pain in the patoot that is!! It’s just tedious, and my eyes are bad enough that trying to read a scale graduated in 1/64 inch increments is a challenge. Whatever - Missy Prissy leaves me alone and I can just work in peace, so there’s that. We’re going to [Kevin’s](http://www.eatatkevins.com/Home.html) for supper - Weds night is fried chicken night and my sweetie lurves their fried chicken. I’ll probably do the crab cake, or I’ll see what’s on special. I hope they have their fried 'shrooms - they’s yummmm! C’mon Firday!!! ---
