The answer by far is “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. How this Jesus crap made it onto mainstream radio is beyond my comprehension. ---

Man, I was hoping that the “NOW That’s What I Call Music!” series was from earlier in the '90s, but it looks like they just covered 1999-2000. I recall a thread bitching about the sandwich chain Jimmy John’s…one thing they DO have going for them is they play a relentless barrage of GOOD 1990’s rock…Soundgarden, Alice, Nirvana, etc. Going in there is like stepping back in time.
