What are the yellow and white things on Sara Evan's legs?

I’m puzzling over this photo… what are they? Folded up pants cuffs? Leg warmers?

Looks to me like they’re just the lower parts of the pants legs.

Why is one leg yellow? Fashion? Stepped in a bucket of paint?

Clearly it’s for the purpose of semaphore. She’s conveying the idea of “N”.

I just gotta nitpick: “Sara Evans’s legs,” not “Evan’s legs.” Her name is Evans, not Evan, and so the possessive is Evans’s. Evans’ is grudgingly acceptable if the common pronounciation in your area is consistent with that spelling, but it really should be “Evans’s.”

Sorry for the nitpick, and thanks for your time.

Thanks for the heads up RickJays

Perhaps you could get Sara to semaphore that the title is misspelled. (Just so we can watch her do the “error” semaphore)

So Ontarians really say “Evanses”? That sounds hella awkward to me.

Shouldn’t it be “Evans’ legs” ?

I just want to be the chair.

I think she should take the pants off so that we can better inspect them.

My aunt Kathryn used to make sweaters like that, when she ran out of a color of yarn.

Could it be photoshopped to catch web site content thieves?

I say Evanses, as a NE US person. Hooray for “Evans’s”!

No. Because that’s a plural possessive use of the apostrophe, and “Evans” is not a plural. RickJay is right; it should be “Evans’s” and pronounced as such.

I love that album. She has some pipes. A voice so nice to listen to, that I don’t even notice that she’s using it to croon out Nashville crap.

Well, I was really hoping it would be a banana slug, but I’m pretty sure it’s just part of her pants.
