# What are you doing for "your guy?"

Not a damn thing. I’ll vote for them, but otherwise I’ve got shit to do; busting my ass for someone who’ll never give me the time of day isn’t high on my “to do” list.

Oh - forgot: bought 3 ‘Obama’ cups of coffee at 7-11 over the last month or so.

(1) Donated a few bucks each to:

–Obama (bought stuff from their online store, actually)  
–McCaskill  
–DCCC  
–DSCC  
–Paul Ryan’s opponent  
–Michelle Bachmann’s opponent  
–Rebecca McClanahan (who’s trying to get her seat back in the MO Legislature; you may have heard of the guy who beat her in 2010 as he created a stir when he admitted to being a gay Republican)

(2) Hosted the regional Democratic HQ in a vacant storefront I own (I also volunteered to “man” the HQ for a two hour shift today, as they want someone covering it all day while the operatives are out working);

(3) Canvassed door-to-door for McCaskill with my two older kids. They are fired up for her after she made them “famous” by talking to them on TV (see the very end of [this news clip](http://www.heartlandconnection.com/news/story.aspx?id=790224#.UJf_FsXolnB), most of which was filmed in the storefront we own; they can also be seen in the background earlier in the story).
