Hi all! I would like to conduct an unofficial survey of ‘The Straight Dope’ masses. The question is(drum roll please): What are you doing right now! This question streams from the reams and reams of questions that are posted per week. This sounds like hypocracy but, don’t the avid internet ‘Dope’ fans have anything better to do with teir time. Right now, I am waiting for the Salvation Army people to come pick up a donation. I waited at home all day yesterday- they didn’t show, but did call to apologize. I’m hoping they will show up today. What’s a person gotta do to give away free stuff around here? ---
