I’m working on this drink I read about in the NY Times: [http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/dining/29tipsy.html?\_r=1&scp=1&sq=frisco&st=cse](http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/dining/29tipsy.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=frisco&st=cse) First, I don’t like lemon in my mixed drinks so I’m using lime. I started out with 2 shots of bourbon and 1 T each of Benedictine and lime juice. I’m going to try 1 shot of each next time and see how that goes. ---

Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen. Very nice flavor — it’s my mostly-non-beer-drinking wife’s second favorite — and it’s often on sale locally at $2.19 for a 22 ounce bomber. ---

Fake cappuccino from the gas station. I volunteered to work 3rd shift tonight so I need something to wake me up. Lucky me I’ll be here 9 hours instead of 8 with the time change tonight. I did have some Spotted Cow with dinner earlier tonight, the best beer IMHO. ---
