# What are you going to give?

To son, a 13 inch color tv and two floor lamps (he is supposed to be moving out next month and will need them).

To Mom, money. It may not seem like a thoughtful gift, but she needs that worse than anything else I could give her.

To the LIONsob, an inkjet printer, new shoes and a fight simulator disc for the computer.

To the rest of my family and friends home made quick breads in different flavors.

What am I giving this year . . .

“Uncle Shelby’s ABZ Book” to my Dad  
way cool finger puppets and an anklet with bells on it to my Mom  
“The Popup Book of Phobias” to my stepmom  
Shimano spincasting rod 'n reel to my husband  
assorted amazing action figure stuff for my sons  
and  
leather underwear.

Let that little tidbit add to the holiday entertainment.

I’m giving Mama Chikki a snowman figure, because she collects them, and also a knee-support pillowy thing.

Daddy Chikki gets a big thing for his collection of state quarters. One of those map things.

ChikkiSis gets a bunch of maple sugar candy and some treats you can’t get in Mississippi.

My foster brother gets socks with race cars on them.

My foster sister gets a bunch of pink bracelets.

My best friend gets a CD and a keychain taht says “You say I’m a bitch like it’s a bad thing.”

Another friend gets a day planner.

A third gets a Calgon thing that smells nice.

My male friends each got a shoebox full of styrofoam packing peanuts; one of them had a can of silly string, another had a marble notebook and a lighter, another had a bottle of cologne that smelled like Preferred Stock.

Gunny gets his in the mail soon, hopefully.
