This morning I drove over to Aptos to check out the fallen Advocate Tree, a victim of the recent storms. It was the largest redwood in Nicene Marks State Park, over 260 feet tall and more than a thousand years old. Quite impressive even in repose. This afternoon I’ve been listening to SACDs and Audio DVDs of Yes, Moody Blues and ELP. ---

Watched SNL on Xfinity. (funny, that never happens when I make Tostinos…) Gaming some a bunch of places. Catching up with family & friends. Some cleaning. One… maybe two… glasses of wine (its Sunday & I’ve been good). ---

And I wasn’t a fan or the Patriots going in: Beli-blech Deflatergate Refusing the NFLs ruling Donald Trump is best Friends with the Patriots Owner Their uniforms Exactly Match Kellyanne Conway’s during the InHogauration. So, I flipped the channels while cooking some chili and saw … … a Patriots defender tackle a Falcons receiver… and then a second Patriots defender seemed to Stamp On The Hand of the Falcons receiver while he was on his back on the ground. (networks did not re-broadcast that) The Falcons had a double-digit gain on the play, so that was that. I think it was at that point that I rooted for the Falcons to Kick Their Ass. Look… no on in GA likes me & I’m not asking favors. But if you Kick Boston’s Ass This Year, my hats off to you. I honestly don’t know how to cook anything Atlanta style, but I already had chili cooking and almost done. I found that if I put two large glasses of red wine into a small pot, brought them to a simmer, and then added a large table-spoon scoop of peanut butter, I could make something that is almost from GA. (They make wine there. They may peanuts there. You can Google it.) I only stirred some into my chili. It was Good. Also, the First Quarter seems to be going towards The Falcons.) Try as I might, its just not in me to sit on the sidelines while liars and cheats try to steal something important to America… ---
