My son was just here from Seattle. He brought 8 boxes of my favorite treat – Aplets and Cotlets. I could easily eat these by myself but two of them went to friends who were on their way to Springfield and Chicago to visit relatives. It’s not regifting so much as it’s spreading the word about an awesome Pacific Northwest treat. ---

I got a very nice XXL old style Yankee Jersey. It is way too big for me and I hope it will never fit me. I am wrapping the PC Games I bought my brother in the jersey. ---

I received a Mr. Potatohead at my office gift swap – one of those Yankee Trader things, where people keep swapping presents until all the gifts are open. It’s being regifted, though it’s staying in the house – my two-year-old daughter gets it. ---

I’m regifting a gift card. It was a nice gift, but I can’t get to the theatre (it’s at a chain that only has one in the city I live and the other side of town from me) but I know someone who lives right by one of that chain (in another city). So she’ll get it. 🙂 ---

I’m regifting some kitchen stuff (pot holders, thermometer) that I got last year that I already own one or two of. I’m still on the lookout as to where to regift a Department 56 ceramic ‘rubber ducky’ soap dispenser. I love my mom, but sometimes she just doesn’t get it. Yearly I regift Hickory Farms products. I don’t know why people, especially my mother and sister, think I like this stuff. Luckily, coworkers fight to the death to get it, so I’m golden. Brainiac4 is regifting a bottle of 15 year Glenlivet. Neither of us drink Scotch - we have a good single malt in the house for the people that do, but his brother drinks it. He says he’d have to mix it with far too much coke in order to drink it, and has enough appreciation of other people’s appreciation of Scotch to know better. ---

I got some candies and things from various co-workers that I won’t eat (I still have Hallowe’en candy sitting around, for cryin’ out loud), so those will get combined and go to my mom and/or my sister-in-law. ---

I regifted [this](http://thebodyshop-ca.stores.yahoo.net/bnewtreatgif.html), and felt really guilty about doing it! But I’m a poor student, so the guilt passed quickly. I love the cranberry line at the body shop, but I don’t use shimmery lotion or shower gel, and have a friend that’s a shower-aholic. It’s weird how we’re all programmed to think that regifting is a thoughtless thing to do, but really, if someone else will actually use it, what’s the harm? ---

I got two bottles of wine from two very nice customers. I don’t drink wine, but my close friend and my uncle do. They’ll get more enjoyment then I would. ---

We are regifting a game of Cranium that we received last year. It’s a fantastic game, but we already own it, and it’s the exact same version (had it been a different edition, we likely would have kept it). Never opened, still with a bow stuck to it! We bought another game (Carcasonne) for my husband’s uncle and his family, but now think we will give them Cranium and give Carcasonne to someone else, who will also enjoy it. ---
