1. Singing. There are no words in the english language to describe how completly and utterly horrible I am at singing. 2. Geometry. I just can’t do it. A good friend of mine, who is a math genius, tutors me and it helps but her patience is wearing thin and I am not sure how much longer she will put up with me. Hopefully at least until midterms… 3. Dancing. Kind of goes with singing.\* I can’t dance\*. At all. 'Nuff said. Of course, as soon as I hit sumbit, I will think of more… ---

**Bowling** **Billiards** - what IS it with vectors anyway? **Swimming** - Don’t look at me to save you from drowning. I have enough trouble keeping my own body afloat. **Training dogs** - One syllable out of my father’s mouth and his dogs would stop dead in their tracks and come slinking back with their tails between their legs. When I call my dogs (I’ve had 2), they look back and wave. ---

I really suck at making friends. However, I’m actually lucky because hubby is the opposite. He’s always everyone’s Best Man, choice for godfather, etc. So I get to have friends anyway because I’m his wife. But on my own, forget it. ---

Math: multiplication. I have worked my butt off at school just to be able to get a C in, get this, BASIC MATH! I feel so ashamed (but also quite happy that I get to go to the next Math class and not have to take this one over). ---

Handling anything with glue. This is a lifelong thing. I simply cannot paste anything without it being a huge mess. I type labels at work and someone else sticks them. When someone sent me some really great CD labels to go on some CDR’s I have, I ended up having my neighbor’s 8 year old son stick them on. He thought it was hillarious, particularly when I bought him an ice cream for doing it. I cannot handle paste, glue, etc. Just cannot. ---

Sports. (Not only am I terminally unathletic, I have some sort of mental block when it comes to understanding the rules.) Music. Drawing. Chess. (The last time I played, I lost to my eight-year-old cousin. Not pretty.) Cleaning, including the all-important step of _perceiving_ that something needs to be cleaned. Making small talk. Approaching strangers. Job interviews. Saying things that I know are going to hurt people, even when they have to be said. (This afternoon, I will have to look one of my students in the eye and tell him he cannot possibly pass the class. Ugh. Just give me a shot of something that will knock me out for the next four hours, OK?) ---

I’m disgustingly good at games requiring spatial skills, i.e., billiards, bowling, darts, etc. I can kick all your asses. but… I suck loudly at strategy games. I seem to have a complete inability to think more than 1 or 2 moves ahead. Chess will forever be beyond my grasp. Games like **Age of Empires** and **Civ III** reveal a strong streak of masochism in me in that I find them highly addictive yet my game play is barely competant. Sigh. I also suck at quitting smoking. You’d think I’d be a master by now, considering how many times I’ve done it. I can’t sing worth a damn either. ---

What I probably suck at the most is fixing things. It doesn’t help that I have little patience with anything that breaks on me in the first place. If I do attempt to fix it, I end up getting flustered and making the problem worse. Other things I am woefully inept at doing: [ul] [li]Shuffling a deck of cards[/li][li]Keeping a house clean.[/li][li]Washing dishes by hand (my glasses always have spots all over them, no matter what I try to do)[/li][li]Getting dates (I gave up on this one several years ago).[/li][li]Writing legibly[/li][li]Remembering people’s names[/li][li]Sports. I was never cut out to be an athlete. As a consequence I am not a fan of most sports, either.[/li][/ul] I should also add that I was 7 or 8 before I could tie or lace my shoes. There are also the things I feel I am pretty good at: [ul] [li]Doing math in my head. For example, I can add a list of numbers without the aid of a calculator or by using pencil and paper.[/li][li]Music. I can identify the note of any tone I hear and can play a few instruments by ear. I don’t read music as well, however.[/li][li]Remembering numbers. I retain old phone numbers, recall dates of specific events, etc.[/li][li]Being at work every day (and on time). I went through all 12 years of school without missing a day. In my 13 years of employment with various companies, I have only called in sick once.[/li][/ul] ---
