One that tends to come up at this time of year: I suck at wrapping presents. I frequently end up cutting a piece of gift wrap that either doesn’t cover or is twice what I need, even though I use the package as a guide just like my mother taught me. Even once I’ve got that worked out, there’s always an odd bit that needs to be tucked under, or a corner that looks smashed rather than creased. I cannot cook fish to save my life, except for baking it in the oven. I don’t know why. Fried fish always comes out either raw, or burnt, or (my specialty) both. ---

Conversation - I’m a pretty timid little boy, and can only normally start conversations with those whom I’m extremely familiar with - basically, only five or six people on this planet. I can’t confront people at all. Making friends - ties in with the above. I have only one close friend, and have never been in any sort of girlfriend-boyfriend-type relationship (although I’ve had platonic friends. Heck, the better part of my casual friends are female!) Math of pretty much any kind. I’m okay with basic stuff, add-subtract-multiply-divide-exponent. I can even handle basic sine-cosine-tangent stuff. I can find the directions and distances to and from any two points on a plane pretty easily. But I can’t do proofs worth a crap, and that’s why I have a C in Geometry. Partying - I’m way too restrained to let loose and party. I’m a wallflower. I have to be fought with to mingle. Eating junk food - if it lacks sufficient nutritional value, I won’t eat it. Likewise, if I’m not hungry, I won’t eat. Causes problems at parties. Oh well, love thyself, and all of that jazz… ---

Stairs, I am constantly hurting myself on stairs. I can actually fall UP the stairs in my office…lol ---

Speaking and understanding spoken foreign language. Funny since I generally consider myself to be fairly intelligent and I know FL is supposed to be an intellectual endeavor. It just sounds like a bunch of people mumbling to me. Actually come to think of it anything that requires me to understand spoken language gives me trouble.([sarcasm] but I have no learning disability, no siree bob [/sarcasm]) Anyway flunked my foreign language courses in college until I got to do the reading version. Guess I should count my blessings. I mean I only flunked a completely worthless course, not something that was actually even slightly useful.
