Point 1, he did not say those quoted words. They were written by a different poster in a different thread. They have nothing to do with the current discussion.
I’m guessing that you screwed up. You meant to quote from the first post in the current thread, but somehow cut & pasted the completely wrong thing. But this brings me to:
Point 2: he did not make a claim in the first post. He quoted what his colleagues had said, and asked if it is true or not. Obviously, he was expressing some doubt about the claim. Why are you asking him to support someone else’s claim, that he doesn’t quite believe?
I can’t tell whether this is sarcastic, ironic, or naïve.
Surely nothing in this thread has equipped you for that task.
