I’ll second Me and Bobby McGee. I also really appreciate DiVinyls - I Touch Myself, Tracy Bonham - Mother Mother and 4 Non Blondes - What’s Up. With a male counterpart, I’m all about Aqua - Barbie Girl and with a group I have alot of fun with Loveshack. Recently I’ve found that Alanis Morrisette - You Oughta Know is _alot_ of fun to sing (read: scream and whine to a rhythm). ---

I can rock out to either _Smooth_ by Santana and Rob Thomas or _Turn the Page_ by Bob Seger. You may hear a little of the Metallica influence in the later, but it’s most the original version. ---

For all the Bobby McGee lovers: What do you do during the guitar solo toward the end. I always feel so gawky during instrumentals so I don’t do songs with them, but I’d love to sing Bobby McGee. Ideas? Or do you just get too drunk to care? 😃 ---

People were actually yelling “shut up”, but like you said, “I was too drunk to care”. ---

I only do karaoke in the privacy of my own home with my daughter’s machine, but I do a mean “Delta Dawn” and “Blue Bayou”. I also like to sing “He’s a Tramp” off her Disney Princess CD, and the Mermaid and Pocahontas songs! :o ---

Well, I’ve only done karaoke once, but the ones I enjoyed doing the most were: “American Pie” by Don McLean “Creep” by Radiohead And especially “Son of a Preacher Man” by Dusty Springfield. Yes, I know it’s supposed to be sung by a woman. It was a lot of fun anyway. 🙂 ---

I like doing just about anything (except heavy metal and hip hop), and the Karaoke guy at the local Numero Uno Pizza has a hella diverse collection.
