**Fat Girl Buffet-** not as good as some of these but I liked the honesty and bluntness; it’s a little hole in the wall restaurant on Highway 82 in Alabama. Speaking of Montgomery, southern history buffs may appreciate this one, others may not understand why it’s so funny: **The Jeff Davis Dress Shop** - it was located in what was once the Jeff Davis Hotel in downtown Montgomery.\* \*For those who don’t know, Jeff Davis was hounded for the rest of his life by the rumors he was wearing a dress when he was captured. The rumors are mostly unfounded- he wasn’t wearing a dress- though whether intentional or not he was covering his face with his wife’s shawl. ---

In Gothenburg Sweden my favorite store name is **Hung Fat Asian Trading Company** Baby, I’m hung fat. 😃 There is a strip mall in the San Fernando Valley called the **Bang Luck Plaza** I wonder if single people go there before a first date. ---

Just west of where I live is a little community named Eden. Between my house and the community is a little body shop/junkyard/mechanic, apparently operated by a literary sort: East of Eden Body Shop. ---

There was a Library Bar in my college town, too. (Norman, Oklahoma) Bicycle sales & repair shop: **The Cycle Analyst** Bar near a hospital: **The Recovery Room** (actually, the hospital is gone. The bar remains. I don’t know what it does for clientele). Hair salon: **Hugh’s Haircraft** (cute name, lousy cuts) ---

**Noodle King and Ice Cream Queen**. The owners had dreamed of opening their own ice cream shop, but realized they needed something else to anchor the store - so generic Chinese it was! **Two Small Men With Big Hearts**. A moving company. I imagine midgets trying to load my couch onto a truck. ---
