Alejandro - Lady Gaga (2009) Almost Like The Blues - Leonard Cohen (2014) Already Naked - Blondie (2017) Altered Boy - Jimmy Buffett (2002) As Good As I Once Was - Toby Keith (2005) Old age Leonard Cohen was better than young and middle aged Cohen, and Almost Like The Blues is IMHO top 10 Cohen. This is my top song of the five on my list. ---

Lightning Bolt - Air Conditioning - 2019 Try to think of them as Slayer deciding to play free jazz. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/PFHBQ9fOaz0/maxresdefault.jpg "Air Conditioning") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFHBQ9fOaz0) Lightning Bolt - Assassins - 2003 Man, in their early days, maybe think of them as a free jazz duo that wanted to sound like Devo, but ended up sounding like Devo covering Slayer. Seriously, my only problem with these guys is they’re always this intense. I’ve gotta be in the right mood to consume two albums straight. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/TaI_e8hGRgE/maxresdefault.jpg "Assassins") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaI_e8hGRgE) The Black Angels - Always Maybe - 2013 [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/YMc-dHPqVWg/maxresdefault.jpg "Always Maybe") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMc-dHPqVWg) Sonic Boom - All Things Being Equal - 2014 If it would be possible to wear out a YouTube video, I would have worn this one out. I might be nearing 1% of its views. I honestly don’t know where I can get it elsewhere. It’s like a wonderful robe fresh out of the dryer that I can wrap myself in. In fact, gotta listen to it twice in a row tonight. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/_IWgMOpkiug/maxresdefault.jpg "Sonic Boom / Experimental Audio Research "All Things Being Equal"") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IWgMOpkiug) St Vincent - Los Ageless - 2017 So many good guitar and synth riffs.
