I got cut off due to being at the rump end of song submissions, but my other three would have been: Majestic - Wax Fang (2007) A Million Ways - OK Go (2005) Mama Do The Hump - Rizzle Kicks (2011) ---

I forgot about OK Go! Maybe because their videos are so amazing, their musicality can get obscured (IMHO). I’ll be surprised if Pond’s “Moth Wings” (one of my submissions, I admit) doesn’t get at least a couple more votes. That song rocks. ---

Small factoid: The chorus to that song was first written as “fucking shitty”, but the band wisely changed it to the subtler and more radio-friendly “mmm mmm mmm”. ---

I keep forgetting Zevon lived and recorded until 2003 - I always think of him as a 1970’s artist because of the “Excitable Boy” album (1978). ---

Yup. I stumbled onto Zevon thanks to a fun little rockin’ album he made one drunken night with R.E.M.'s guitarist Peter Buck (I was a big R.E.M. fan – still am. This was around 1992. They called themselves the “Hindu Love Gods.”) ---
