[If you Iisten to the opening section](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X28-olxweYk), ignoring the spoken words and instead listening to the slow piano melody, _Amazing Grace_ emerges. ---

Wow, I’ve never noticed this, but after you mentioned it, it became apparent in the first notes. ETA: or is it possible that the radio edit omitted that long, slow intro and that’s the reason I never noticed it? ---

I always heard the spoken opening, but it may have been cut for length. That said, I don’t recall anyone else ever mentioning this. It’s just something I noticed. ---

Okay then. Let’s go with: [Never Will I Marry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97SQeN2Djas) - Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley. Sublime. > [@MrDibble](#): > > I prefer the [This Mortal Coil cover](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0tUCmYuE8M). I can’t listen to individual songs on that TMC album - it has to be the whole thing or nothing. It all sort of flows as one big work.
