Heh, dangit. I won’t wait to see if we get extra picks for this song. But dang, this is hard. It’s like picking your favorite child or favorite cat. One of the most bipolar songs I’ve encountered, pinging back and forth between bubblegum pop and death metal. Weirdly it works (at least for me). [**X**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sbt5inLayfc) - Miss Li (2022). Very catchy Swedish pop. [**X**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4yHx1WWr34) - Bicep ft Clara La San (2021). A little club music for your delectation. [**X**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BwU4tXApdk) - Trivium (2021). This is the instrumental opening to what appears to be a concept album. The song that follows this (“In The Court Of The Dragon”) is loud and shouty in (IMHO) a not-very-interesting way, but this short track promises much anyway. [**X&Y**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90GazUjQBjM) - Caity Baser (2022). A catchy “fuck you to my ex” song. Like Meghan Trainor with more swearing. ---

There are also versions in other languages and styles: > **[C'est la vie (Khaled song)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%27est_la_vie_(Khaled_song))** > > "C'est la vie" is a song by Algerian raï singer Khaled. It was produced by Moroccan-Swedish producer RedOne and released on Universal Music Division AZ becoming a summer hit for Khaled in France in 2012. > The song is bilingual, with the main verses in Algerian Darja Arabic and the chorus in French. The chorus repeats the phrase (translation in parentheses and italics). > On va s'aimer (We shall love each other)On va danser (We shall dance)Oui c'est la vie (Yes, this is life) Lala, lalala...
