Many, many nicknames over the years.
Amber Bamber and Ambird Zebra - Back in High School. They were plays on my real name, so they were relatively common.
Anastasia and Stasia - When I started writing my pathetic attempts at poetry, I would use Anastasia as a nom de plum. When I got online, it would be my screen name almost everywhere I went. So as people started to get to know me, they’d know me as Anastasia, or just shortening it, Stasia.
Am - a shortening of my real name, which I actually hear a lot more than Amber any more.
Amboo - that, like hardygrrl’s, was because my nephew couldn’t say my name. It’s been far too long since I’ve heard it. 
and last but not least - TruePisces or TP - It started here on the board, and a lot of people don’t call me by anything more - though they may (or may not) know my real name.
