I have google news looking for the surname of my first friend in the States, and ‘suicide’. He called last week and _seemed_ to have it on his mind. I think he was just being dramatic, but…

eBay has a couple of saved searches. The first is for the AMT [Leif Ericson spaceship model](http://frank.bol.ucla.edu/le.html) (with lights – it was later made as the glow-in-the-dark ‘UFO Mystery Ship’ without lights or chrome-plated parts). The other is a 100 lb practice bomb. I have one of those, and it cost me a double sawbuck back in the '80s. They used to be all over the place; now they’re very scarce.
