An 8 year old Chow mix named Luke, a 6 year old German Shepard mix named Maya, two 8 year old cats named Bob and AlleyCat, a 5 year old cat named Mr. Brandybuck, and an 11 year old cat named Arlene. The joys of my life. I’d be lost without them! ---

My dog does not bark or otherwise utter a sound… except to whine when he wants to go out. Which is often. So, being a whiner, I named him **Cognac**. I have a Tiger Oscar too, but I haven’t named him/her yet. Open to suggestions. ---

Months later, we decided Bandit needed a friend, so we got another Jack Russell, a female this time. Her name is Carrie! Don’t get it? In the old movies Smokey and the Bandit, Sally Fields name was Carrie! AH HA! nope, no one has ever gotten it without an explanation ---

Big male grey cat - Honey (He was named by a foreign exchange student we had who basically learned English by watching old American television in his home country and he always wanted to be able to say, “Hi Honey, I’m home,”). Male black cat - Rascal A recent wander-into-the-family, a male blond cat with almost no tail - Bob (get it, bobcat). Female calico - Livestock (Now I can go down to the local rural hangouts for farmers and ranchers and when they start talking about their cattle and pigs, I can say, “Well, my Livestock’s doin’ OK,”).
