In general, I would agree.

However, there is ongoing research into micro-dosing LSD, micro-dosing psilocybin mushrooms, ingesting MDMA and injecting ketamine to approach a variety of disorders.

Obviously, under very controlled circumstances, with a doctor overseeing the process.

Don’t do this at home, folks!

In college, while on a long field trip, we were invited to take part in a native American ceremony that involved Peyote. The ceremony was very cool, the harfing up in the fire was not. And my hallucinations were along the lines of seeing devils and fire elementals dancing in the fire.
,
The only way I would do that retreat was court ordered and even so I would ask if there were alternatives.

I’ve read a lot about it. It might be life altering drug but my personal opinion is that these people are capitalizing on the hype and have turned into a mystical thing. It’s another drug. A powerful one, sure, but a drug nonetheless. It doesn’t need to involve shamans.

Here’s Ron White’s experience.
