Survive the cancer currently infesting me so mrAru and I can continue with the plans we had. If I do get the most negative outcome, one last trip off our bucket list before I euthanize myself before it gets too horrible. And if I do have to go too soon, I want mrAru to move back west and find another love to fill out thr rest of his life. ---

1. That the world still exists to bury me and I pass relatively pain-free. 2. That I am still able to ride motorcycles until the end of my days. 3. To see my newest great-grand-cousin enter High School. I’m over 60 with medical issues; most hopes tend to revolve around the closing moves. ---

1. Get my oldest off to college in the fall. 2. Get my back yard in good shape. I’ve put in a raised garden, a peach tree and some berry bushes. Mine: 1. My 12 year old son has been sick and in and out of the hospital since March. I want him to get better (first and foremost) and for his disease to be manageable over his lifetime. I want him to be well enough for us all to go on our vacation this summer. (does that count as one hope or three…if that counts as one then) 1. I got a promotion that starts next August (I’m a teacher) and I hope I do really well and everyone (including me) is happy and agrees it is a good fit. 2. I hope I can find the library book I may or may not have lost. ---

1. That my children grow up and are able to became normal, productive members of society without major issues. 2. That I continue my improvement in overcoming the effects of my childhood trauma. 3. That either my wife and I are happy together or in the even that fails, that pornhub never goes away. OK, just kidding on that one. ---

I didn’t even come close to doing all the things on my bucket list, most of them didn’t mean too much to me anyway. As I age I find my priorities changing and things that were once important no longer have much meaning to me. I still have a strong desire to finish a book I have been working on for the past decade now. In recent months I have been phasing out things that take up a lot of my life so I will have more time to write. Finishing my book seems to be about the only thing of real importance to me anymore., ---
