I’m sorry, I don’t have a top 5. But because of reasons (studying Al Brooks’ odd C.V.) hubby and I just rewatched “Defending Your Life,” and I thought she did justice to a genteel role in a sweet, subtly satirical film. So that’s my only nomination. Actually, we ended up talking more about something uncharacteristic for us–she is like the Dick Clark of B-movies. Seriously, she looked about as old in [high school](http://jgeilsband.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Meryl_Streep_Treasurer-150x150.jpg)as she did in that film. In a good way, though. If I have some movie time this week, and I probably will (though we’re planning on a Paul Muni fest) I’ll try to watch some more of her oeuvre and weigh in again. ---

I just realized how few of these I’ve seen so I have to vote for ones I’d rewatch for her performance which leaves: Kramer v. Kramer Defending Your Life and a special nod to Holocaust-best miniseries that’s never been rerun and I think one of her best performances ---
