Get Carter Children of Men Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Just watched _Get Carter_ for the first time. It took me a long time to get into it and follow the plot; I had to turn on the captions to catch all the words. ---

That list doesn’t have Jaws 4 or Blame It On Rio on it, so it’s obviously not meant to be taken seriously… ---

I’m choosing to see this as “Top 5 Michael Caine performances” not “Top 5 movies that have Michael Caine in them” \*The Man Who Would Be King The Italian Job Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Quills Get Carter \* Ummed and aahed over whether to put _Get Carter_ or _Alfie_ as that last one… Also, relevant question is which Michael Caine we’re talking about - [the one who gets all emotional, or the one with the loud emphasis](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFIQIpC5_wY). ---

_Alfie Billion Dollar Brain_ (I seriously need to see _The Ipcress File_ and _Funeral In Berlin_.) _The Italian Job Get Carter The Muppet Christmas Carol_ (It’s either this, _Miss Congeniality_, or _Goldmember_…no, I’m not proud.) And quite evidently, I really, REALLY need to see _The Man Who Would Be King_…and throw _Zulu_ and the original _Sleuth_ on top of that as well. ---
