The Sting and Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid are the best two by a long shot (in that order). Then comes Cool Hand Luke, The Hustler and Slap Shot. ---

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof Hud Slap Shot Honorable mention: The Silver Chalice I will admit I don’t care much for Paul Newman’s movies. I admire Paul Newman, I can see why he was a big star, and his charities are remarkable (can you imagine any of today’s blah herd doing such a thing??) but I can’t really get into his movies, with a few exceptions. For some reason they leave me cold. I feel the same way about George Clooney.) ---

I’ll tell you, the scene when Newman walks into his old house, where he muses on his parents’ relationship, is probably his most powerful moment in film.
