Blotto – 4-5 times (They were on MTV, so they’re not just a local band). Allman Brothers Band – 4 times (twice with Duane). J. Geils Band – twice (once with the Allman Brothers) Loudon Wainwright III – twice (30 years apart) Livingston Taylor – twice (also 30 years apart) Otis Taylor - twice (no relation) I plan to see the Roches later this summer, so I will have seen 2/3rds of them twice. ---

The Grateful Dead +/- 85 Phish about 8 Leftover Salmon +20 String Cheese 5 or so Willie Nelson 5 or so RatDog +20 Rolling Stones 3 Bruce Hornsby +5 Bob Dylan +10 los Lobos 5 or so Jakes Leg 150++ (local Dead cover band for past 30 yrs) many others but these are the big ticket items… ---

Tull - 8 or 10. I think. '88 to '93 are still kind of vague. Nazareth - 4 (the fifth time they didn’t play, as Darrel Sweet was in the process of dying from a heart attack) First time I was 13, last I was 31. Seger - 2 Might have seen Ozzy a couple times. ---

Let’s see if I can remember them all: Opeth - 7 Nevermore - 4 or 5 Amorphis - 2 Symphony X - 2 Into Eternity - 3 Evergrey - 2 Lacuna Coil - 4 In Flames - 2 Moonspell - 2 God Forbid - 2 Shadows Fall - 2 Eh, my total list is much much longer (hey, many of the bands I like, if they DO tour, only tour the US every several years). There’s a whole bunch I’ve seen at festivals and I can’t remember most of them, but: Sev (eh…) - 2 PM5K (double eh…) - 2 …don’t remember any more (probably because I didn’t like most of them), but I know there were plenty more. How about bands I will be seeing for the second time in the next few months (Therion and Katatonia), do they count? Do local bands count? Cause I wasn’t going to see them–most of them were good though–but if so: Brave - 4 Odin’s Court - 2 Division - 3 Todesbonden - 2 Tapping the Vein - 2 ---

Hmm, that’s tough. Not too many that anyone would have heard of but: Dave Matthews - Probably 20 times, they used to play regular Tue night gigs in Charlottesville VA Bella Morte - 10 times or more Navel - 3 or 4 times ---

Def Leppard. I’m up to 20 shows as of the one I went to this weekend, and am going to see them in Canada and Michigan next week. I wouldn’t be going if I hadn’t been invited to a friend’s house and the concert tix were an early Xmas present. I was too young to see them on their tour for PYROMANIA and was sick the night they came thru WV on the HYSTERIA tour, so I’m making up for that now. ---

Depeche Mode (about 8 times - I usually don’t go more than once a tour but I have to at least see them once a tour) The rest of these are only 2-4 times each providing I’m remembering correctly, I’m sure there are a couple others I forgot.
