# What bird is this?

This is at the Central Park Zoo. My daughter wants to do a show and tell of her trip to the zoo and I didn’t catch this one’s name. TIA.

First one looks like a Great Blue Heron.

[White-necked Crane](http://www.visualphotos.com/photo/1x7933883/White_Necked_CraneGrus_vipioAsia_JHS-DV02857.jpg) _Grus vipio_ (aka White-naped Crane).

It’s native to Central Asia and is considered threatened.

I figured Colibri would identify it. But even I could tell that was not a Blue Heron.
