# What book did I read last year?

…I think it was by a Japanese woman. A saga of four or five guys growing up and living in New York. One was very rich. One had had a mysterious (for most of the book) accident with a car that crippled him, physically as well as mentally. It eventually centered itself on one main character, although I don’t even remember which one it was. Two were gay, I think. It was a fairly long novel, maybe 4-500 pages. I’ve totally lost it. What the hell was that book?

New. Yep, a novel that followed them from highschool or college through old age. Damned if I can think of the title.
