For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of this book. It’s about a man who goes searching for his son in west Africa. His son is (I think) in the Peace Corps and has gone missing after mailing some odd object to his father. It was very funny and captured life in Africa fairly well. Anybody?

Could it be _[White Man’s Grave](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/031213214X/qid=1125270827/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-6387241-1680639?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)_?

I agree, that book is really funny!

BINGO!! Hilarious and not all that well known. I was living in Mali at the time, then moved to Uganda and read _Malaria Dreams_, which is another killer. Thanks…er…dude(?).
