My mom has been indicted :eek: :eek: :eek: . I called mom this morning to see what’s up. She told me that the newspaper this morning is reporting that a grand jury is indicting her on forgery. The investigation started some time ago when a rival victim’s advocate ratted her out for some offense (read mistake), then the charge was federal fraud. Mom’s not worried, she says her lawyer has everything under control. I told Mom that he wouldn’t be munching carpets in the clink either and she hung up. My life is just on a slow spiral into hell. ---

Its not you, its your Mom and she sounds like she can take care of herself. If she is not worried then don’t you worry about it. It is OK to be a little selfish right now and just worry about yourself. You can get through this be you need some help. Please go talk to someone. This board doesn’t count. We do support you but nothing beats talking to someone face to face. ---

What **loach** says. You have to concentrate on you right now, and let your mom deal with herself. You’ve got enough on your plate without adding other people’s troubles. ---

Remember, things are never so bad that they can’t get worse. 😃 Believe it or not, that’s actually something I tell myself whenever I feel down. I guess for the comedy affect.
