What can I buy in Canada but not the US?

Make that three vowels.

I think my brain has died. Probably too much poutine has clogged up its arteries.

Somethng else you might want to look into are CDs from artists that aren’t readily available in the US, at least not unless you want to pay import prices. I reccomend The Tragically Hip (Canada’s National Band), Sloan, Headstones, Matthew Good and Holly McNarland. Any good store should have a listening post to try them out.

I’ve also not been able to find Twizzlers down here, which kick Red Vines from here to Tuesday.

Twizzlers, the candy?

All I need is a good oldies station (60s and 70s, no disco) and I’ll be fine.

I like Swiss Chalet chicken much better.
By the way, are there any Swiss Chalet food chains in the US?

Terry Pratchett books with the UK covers. =)

I’ve traveled over most of the US and the name doesn’t ring any bells.

Now I know why they need universal health care up there.

Them’s people crazy.

Again, speaking as a vegetarian, I must advise you to add Swiss Chalet to the list ! the sauce is fantastic.

I knew if I hung around here long enough, there’d finally be something I felt qualified to answer!

106.7 is 70s-to now rock and 94.7 is the official oldies rock station.
Thought of another thing to check out, not a destination but an ‘if you get the time and notice one’ thing. Dollar stores are $.72 (or whatever the current exchange) stores.

Over the counter allergy medication which works

Seamen’s Lime Rickey

Most towns have a pub that serves English bitters like Boddington’s or Tetley; might be harder to find in the US?

Toutiere

Amazon Brittle chocolate bars

Yep, we sure are

And to add to Dr_Paprika’s post the best tourtière comes from Lac St-Jean in Québec, although I doubt you’ll be able to find it in Southern Ontario.
