What can kill but cannot be killed?

Brutus, do you know anything about pulse jet engines?
</hijack>

Wikkit,

What a bizzare question. During my university days, me and my buddy tried to build a pulse jet for an engineering project. PJ’s are incredibly simple to make and operate. Of course, ours commited suicide during the initial test (I guess it wanted to be something sexier, like a turbofan or scramjet), so I guess that technically, no, I don’t know much about pulse jets.

What brought up that question? I was thinking about putting together a pulse jet RC plane just the other day :wink:

Tars Tarkas - you have just MADE my weekend!! I am laughing so hard it hurts!

Thanks, man!! :smiley:

And now, back to your regularly scheduled thread…

I like bizzare questions.

PJs are indeed simple, and yet very very complex. One of the people who understand them the most and is still alive is named Bruno Ogorelec, a Croatian man who spent some time in the military, is bilingual, and knows something about computers. His writing style is also similar to yours.

It’s not the strongest evidence, but I thougt maybe you were him. I’d sent him a link from here, I though maybe he’d decided to hang around.

Well, one can never know too many bilingual Croatian ex-military people, so it’s nice to make your acquantance.

If you’re still in Croatia, you might want to give him a call. He’s currently working on a new PJ engine that is pretty much revolutionary. He could also give you some pointers on engine selection if you do decide to build a model plane.
