I have no recollection of ever owning this suit. She even dragged another co-worker in to confirm that I did, in fact, own and wear this suit. They were quite serious about me owning this. I came home and looked everywhere. And it was nowhere to be found. Now Iā€™m just cranky, feeling like Iā€™ve lost something, when before I didnā€™t even remember having it. ---

I donā€™t lose tools. Period. Itā€™s a cardinal sin for me. Over the 4th of July weekend, I went camping with a buddy of mine in the mountains of MT. I brought along a folding knife that my father gave me for Christmas. It was a great knifeā€“a folding 5" tanto blade, black, fit great in my hand. And I think I lost it. :eek: Man, I used that knife for _everything_, jobby-job work, camping, etc. And my Pop gave it to me. :mad: Damn. Iā€™m sure itā€™s around here somewhere, I just canā€™t find the dang thing. Tripler Double damn. :mad: :mad: ---

Scissors, measuring tapes and pens/pencils are all migratory creatures in my house. If I am in the kitchen and need any one of them, I canā€™t find them. When I am in the basement office, there shows up 5 or 6 of them, but I donā€™t need them. Or sometimes they scamper and hide up in my office. There should be some kind of hidden camera around here to watch the show and the hunting. ---

I canā€™t find my Polo RL sunglassesā€¦ And I really want them now that the sun has come backā€¦ I have the case, but alas, it is empty. Iā€™m sure my ex took them on a driving lesson and they never came back. Also my Maddona Like a Prayer LP. And I donā€™t know where that would have gone, since I hardly ever listen to it and most of the time it just sits on my bookshelf Sighā€¦ ---

My rechargeable card I use at the library for photocopying etc. Damn thing went walkabout, and I never realised it. Just went and got a new one ā€“ only lost about $15 on thā€™ deal. Found a heap of pens Iā€™ve been looking for, though! šŸ™‚ ---

I recently paid my car registration, well in advance. Then I carried it around in my purse for over a month, until finally someone reminded me that Iā€™d better put the sticker on my car before I got a ticket. I agreed, and moved the registration to the front pocket of my purse, so Iā€™d see it and remember. That happened on a Friday afternoon. Saturday morning I went to put the sticker on my carā€¦and the thing was GONE. I hunted and hunted and made everyone around me miserable for days, but to no avail. I finally had to go get a replacement, which cost sixteen dollars. I put it on my car right away. Now supposedly, everything is fine, but I canā€™t stop obsessing about what happened to my first registration. It disappeared so quickly and so completely! A little over a year ago, I lost my kidsā€™ birth certificates and social security cards. Iā€™ve finally conceded defeat and Iā€™m taking steps to replace them, but I canā€™t stop wondering what happened to them. Itā€™s become something of a joke now, to never give me any important papers. Now my scissors are missing from my desk at work. I hope someone stole them, because if I find out I lost them I might have to get psychological help to understand why Iā€™m punishing myself this way. Took me a long ass time to find this thread, too!
