I’d like to see a movie reunion on a TV show. How about an episode of _CSI: Criminal Intent_ where Vincent D’Onofrio gets to work with his old pals from the movie _Full Metal Jacket_? Am I the only one who thinks D’Onofrio is insufferably smug on _CSI: Criminal Intent_? Don’t you just yearn to see R. Lee Ermey come in and cut him down to size? And let’s have Matthew Modine and Arliss Howard in it, as well. One can be the criminal and the other can be a victim–I don’t care. ---

**Sportsnight** would be my top choice. Going back quite a few years… **Soap**. Or along the **Law and Order** theme - how about an episode guest-starring every single former cast member? Seeing Moriarty and Waterston together would be cool, along with all thirty-five female ADAs. ---

The original Lost In Space cast. After 40+/- years, they finally get back to earth. Happy Days/Laverne&Shirley update show. Its the late 70s/early 80s yadda yadda yadda. ---

There was a Laverne & Shirley reunion recently. Mainly it was showing clips and bloopers from the show, but it ended with a SURVIVOR style sketch in which the characters were updated a bit (Laverne was multimarried and referred to herself as “the mother of two beautiful children and of three others you just wanna whack”). The main hit of the evening was Betty Garrett (the landlady who married Laverne’s father) who is in her 80s but can still tapdance better than most 20 somethings. ---

There was a Laugh-In reunion in an episode of Sabrina, the teenaged Witch… she got stuck in some magical insane asylum, and all the remaining cast of the original Laugh-in were inmates… ---

Oh yes, **Simon and Simon** , I was just thinking of that show a while back. Also **WKRP** , I’ve never seen it but in reruns, so I don’t even know about Bailey’s issues at the end-- they’ve gotta do a reunion. Or somebody just make stuff up and I’ll pretend. **Cheers** could be good or terribly awkward. Then there are shows from waaaay back, like I Love Lucy and the Honeymooners. Reuniting them would be fascinatin’ or boring if _all_ the cast members were dead. ---

I think Bailey had to go through major therapy when her husband left her for Barbra Streisand. (If you don’t know what that means a visit to imdb will answer it.) They did an updated WKRP a few years ago with Carlson, Les, & Herb; Jennifer made a cameo and Johnny Fever became a semi-regular. Mama Carlson and Edie McClurg (Mrs. Herb) also appeared in a few episodes. It wasn’t as good as the original but it also wasn’t terrible. The reunion that nobody has asked for: WHAT’S HAPPENIN’ NOW…NOW?! ---

BTW, this is _prima facie_ evidence that Mr. Streisand is a doddering fool. ---

They had a reunion episode of The Bob Newhart Show. Actually, it was a milking of the classic ending of Newhart. Bob walks around the old sets of the The Bob Newhart Show telling all the characters about the strange dream he had where he was a Innkeeper in Vermont. It was really bad. How about Welcome Back Kotten, the Next Generation.
