I met Dave Prowse at a sci-fi/horror con once. He was very friendly and talkative. Truth is, after a few minutes, I ran out of things to talk about with him and didn’t know how to gracefully disengage. Goes to show, you never know what you’ll get on any given day. It’s well-known that he has severe arthritis, and a bad back. I didn’t recognize him because I was looking for the really tall guy, and instead he was about my size (I’m a little under 6’3"). I was told his arthritis and back problems were the cause of his ‘shrinkage’. I could see where chronic pain could cause chronic crankies. ---

It sort of faded away with, well, I don’t know what. Named (Big Mac Meals? Kids Meal?) meals? It was even in some (IIRC) 50s, 60s movie/song/book/dunnowhat. ETA: Uh…how did this end up that I am reading/posting this today without a new post before mine?? ---
