A Very Long Engagement is good, not completely a chick flick but in the neighbourhood. I’m a sucker for Bridget Jones Diary and About a Boy. ---

Anything by Pedro Almodóvar. My favorites are Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, What Have I Done to Deserve This, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, All About My Mother . . . just about all of his films. Also, a romantic comedy that rarely gets mentioned in romantic comedy threads-- Fools Rush In. ---
