I started picking this out on my guitar the other day, and I can’t recall what it’s from. I’m pretty sure it’s Bach, but I can’t seem to find the piece.

Single notes. The first B is the highest note, all others are below this note, the B\* is an octave down from the high B. Played on a piano with the left hand, you keep your thumb on the high B and alternate with the lower notes.

B, A, B, G, B, F#, B, E, B, D#, B, E, B, F#, B, G

B, B\*, B, C#, B, D#, B, E, B, D#, B, E, B, F#, B, G

Then jump up to the E above the first B, and do it all again. I don’t know how the rest goes. I hope my transcription makes sense.

Thanks.

That sounds like it’s from the Toccata & Fugue in D Minor – the one that famously invokes Dracula or vampires in so many flicks.

Thanks, **choie**. Son of a gun – I didn’t realize that was it, its the start of the second movement in T&F, and about 3:00 in your link.
