The Megabus I am on at the moment is dark blue, so I picked that. ---

I picked “dark red” in the poll. [Cherry red metallic 2012 Ford Mustang](http://images.cars.com/phototab/DMI/155088/P4814/01.jpg) (mine does not have the white stripes). I decided, if I was going to get a sports car, I wasn’t going to get a subtle color. 🙂 ---

I never wanted a red car. But, the Volt I was looking at was the demo model and several thousand cheaper. It’s not a bad red. I briefly had a black Honda Civic; it convinced me to never again have a black car unless I had a garage to put it in. This may also explain in part the popularity of silver cars–they hide dirt astonishingly well. ---

Ford calls my car’s paint color “Infra Red”. It’s hideous, and bright, and quite visible. It’s almost orangey. Not at all my choice in car colors, I would prefer a dark gray or silver, maybe.
