I’m assuming that a stupid stunt of some sort is related to your post. I also think that that alone answers your question. Mods maintain order on the Boards. Instances which have a potential to spawn megs of band with eating flame wars and/or a great deal of displeasure among most users have to be nipped in the bud. If it makes the mod look like a jerk to nitwits so be it. Most people realize that even when they over react it’s nice to have a place where you can discuss the vast majority of things in a civil way, or if you want to take things to the pit where you can be rather uncivil. ---
