30-something Coloured male atheist indie-music fan, married SCAdian web-developer South African. I really like the dialogue, the music and the music/band references. And Lorelei is such a MILF… …but my wife (30, white, SCAdian AOR/R&B fan environmental scientist 8 months preggie) likes it too, so it’s not just that. “Nothern Exposure” is a good reference point. We’re on season 2, I think, in S.A. free-to-air TV - Luke’s nephew has just moved into town. I so did not need spoilers about Lorelei and Luke dating, **Gail** ☹ ---

I love it. “Lorelei” is about my age so I love catching the GenX references, and I have similar coloring (though sadly, not similar features) to her. And as an admirer of “The Preppy Handbook” to this day, I love the glimpse into the elder Gilmores’ hoity-toity old-money world. 36 years old, married female, 3 dogs/no kids, athiest, liberal, English degree, midwesterner.
