I learned that while I don’t know a mutual fund from my elbow, I will be running the Morning Meeting with the development team for the next 2 weeks while the guy that does it normally is in training. And I thought I was just here to be a computer geek! ---

I learned that driving to work with the top down on a cool morning and the heater on will make the rest of the day soooo much better. Coffee helps. I can still do my job when I am dressed like a slob. ---

I learned I can be much more productive if I know where important papers are and my workstation is neat. I learned who was moving all the papers around my workstation. I learned that a word to the boss will keep them out of my workstation. I learned that I am getting homemade chocolate chip cookies as an apology for rooting about my workstation. ---

I learned that the last few tissues in a Kleenex box are a different color so you know you’ll soon need a fresh box. I learned that my sneaking suspicion about all office machines being tools of the devil was, indeed, true. ---

I learned that I can ace a Latin exam on little to no sleep. I learned that I can get addicted to RPGs faster than breathing. I learned that I can procrastinate anything if social interaction is an alternate option. ---

I learned that my apartment has electrical problems I learned that if I leave for work at 8:15, the trip takes an hour I learned that there’s a magazine called _Saavy Living in New Jersey_ (Bwahahahahaha!) ---

I learned that wearing a bodysuit to work under a jumper is a bad, bad idea. I had to get completely naked in the bathroom stall- at work. It was just…wrong. I learned that Papa John’s can make and deliver 18 pizzas in 45 minutes. I learned that my boss is afraid of his boss who thinks I’m fabulous. ---

I learned (or re-learned, rather) not to cut my left hand finger nails really, really short and then play lots of guitar. (My finger is now starting to separate from the nail. Frick, that hurts. I really hope this sticks in my memory and I don’t need to learn this lesson again.) ---

I learned that I didn’t learn nearly enough last night before today’s quantum exam. Which contributed to the great lesson for this semester, that four physics classes at once is a bad idea. But college is all about learning. ---

I learned that if you let your car tags expire, then go to renew them on the last business day of the month(which happens to be a friday) you’ll sit in traffic for 2 hours, get there 15 minutes before they close, and pay a $10 fine. I learned that I can get on the subway, go one station south, buy a monthly train card, go back north, eat lunch and make it back to the office in 45 minutes. I learned(again) that there is a reason I use the bathroom before leaving the office for the day. I learned that bathrooms in kroger are not the cleanest ---

I learned that for every idiot who dies, another must be born. I learned that if I get up at 2:45 PM, I will not be too tired at 10:20 PM. I learned that there are people even more dense (in the head) than I am. The height of stupidity has gotten lower. ---
