# What did you look like in high school?

I don’t have my senior picture. I threw my yearbook away many years ago.
[This](http://s862.photobucket.com/albums/ab183/spike1380/Miscellaneous/?action=view¤t=DSCN1896.jpg) picture was taken by my physics teacher, very early in 1997. I was a Junior at the time. We were doing something with static electricity which is why I had a balloon stuck to my chest.
Yes my pupils are also huge, but not for the same reason **Hal’s** are huge I’m sure. I just naturally have massive pupils.
I had saved up about a month worth of paychecks and for my birthday (Jan’97) I treated myself to contact lenses and a haircut (about 15" gone). The next day, my teacher took this picture.
If I lost about 70 pounds, I’d look pretty damn close to this still.

I looked remarkably like Eric Forman from _That 70s Show_. Taller, darker hair, but hairstyle, clothes, and girlfriend all looked very similar.

[This](http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/maiira_is_MY_name/n19400573_12897138_9389.jpg) appears to be the only picture of me from high school where I’m not making some sort of stupid face. Not my senior picture, but I believe it’s from senior year, so it counts.
The picture is from 2005, btw. Not a long time ago, but I do think I look noticeably younger.

The guy standing with the wisp o’ mustache looks just like a I guy I went to high school with around that time…that plus the KOME sticker on your wall, you weren’t at Berkeley High School by any chance?

I’m still a sucker for anything vaguely plaid or paisley. Finding out both my parents’ families are Scottish sure explained a lot!

As for me–I hate my senior picture, and I can’t seem to find the ones I do like. And, anyways, I don’t compare to most of y’all.

As a mom of a son who got the “Somebody help me get my hair out of my eyes so I can see the music” award in his high school orchestra, let me tell you it is called “Pick your battles”. Not worth fighting over.

[This is my entire school picture history.](http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=631191714&v=photos#!/album.php?aid=101793&id=631191714) The pics on the top row are Graduation pic, Senior portrait, 2 other portraits taken the same day as senior pics, then my kindergarten pic. The 2nd row starts 1st grade then they go in order to 11th grade, and the last 2 pics are my Jr and Sr prom. I had a date both years, but my mom wanted photos with and without him in them.
