Well today is the Autumnal Equinox - so what did you sacrifice to honour the gods? I am holding off until lunchtime and then i’m going to sacrifice a chicken (Thai Chicken Soup) or maybe a pig (Sausage sandwich) if i can’t find the right type of chicken. That should keep many gods happy. My vegan colleague has sacrificed some wheat (Weetabix[sup]TM[/sup]) to appease the fertility gods and **Fellahbilongzelie** is going to be sacrificing some willow (Aspirin\*) to keep the tree gods happy. So what are you going to sacrifice today? \*Why yes, he was out on the town last night, why do you ask? ---

So far, all I’ve sacrificed today is some coffee beans and some wheat (a piece of bread). Honestly, though, O Great Gods Of Whatever, I plan to sacrifice a whole lot more for lunch. ---

I’m probably going to sacrifice a cat if Cricket keeps sticking her feet in my coffee cup. Nevermind, the Goddess wouldn’t appreciate that, so I’ll have to think of something else. I have a Booster Club meeting tonight (hockey)so a section of cow will be given to the flames (on a temporary basis) in my name. ---

While I’m thinking about the Autumnal Equinox, I thought I’d note that the city of Dallas is celebrating this today by having record high temperatures; it’s supposed to get to 101°F , or about 39°C IIRC. Whoooeee! What better way to celebrate autumn than by hanging on to summer. Stupid mother nature ---

I bought one of those “World’s finest Chocolate” candy bars, the ones that cost $1, and go towards charity. (A local school.) It tasted like waxy crap, not how I remembered them. That’s one dollar sacrificed. Oh, and I sent a goat into the desset, so that Azazel could have a good meal. 😃 ---

I sacrificed a cinnamon-raisin bagel earlier today. As soon as I’m finished typing this, I’m going to sacrifice a peanut butter sandwich, potato chips, and a Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream sandwich. Tonight, I’ll sacrifice some pot roast, with potatoes, carrots and green beans, followed by another ice cream sandwich (which, at great cost to myself, I will continue to sacrifice at a rate of two a day until the box is empty). ---

I sacrificed a year-old lamb on a low stone altar in the woods. I pulled out it’s still-beating heart and held it up to the skies, so it’s life essence could join the Sacred Herd. And then I woke up! I gotta stop eating frozen pizza right before bedtime … ---

A workgroup laser printer. It shall crumple our pages no more! I’m not able to do an Office Space-style beating in the parking lot, but I was able to extract the laser assembly. Interesting lenses inside! Wasn’t a complete sacrifice though - I gave the network card and the rollers to an associate that’s got one of these printers. ---
