The name **Hastur** makes me think of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s book _Good Omens_, because that’s the name of one of the characters. A Duke of Hell, actually. I think he meets a most horrific end. [sub]Don’t hurt me.[/sub] ---

**Tengu** sparks Nethack associations for me, for reasons obvious to anyone who’s played Nethack. “Teleportitis” keeps trying to find a song to stick to, but it hasn’t hit one yet. **deepbluesea** is _always_ prefixed with “the devil and the” in my mind, a fact I recently alluded to in the [haunted thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=74577&pagenumber=1) over in MPSIMS. ---
